Pros

stable, decent pay, nice people

Cons

Career opportunities for mid managers

Advice to Management

*Stop hiring consultants to do what your team members already do but your managers do not recognize.

* Explore telecomute and flexible hours more. Many of us could save you the cost of staffing buildings in SF since we all use laptops and our phones to get jobs done. Also - allowing us to work 4 10 hour shifts or 9-80 shifts would be nice.

    Pros

Steady with good benefits and opportunity

    Cons

It is a mill, on the corporate side all you do is crank out one type of mindless product, there is no thinking required

    Advice to Management

Cut the middle 3 tiers of management, they are dead weight

    Pros

Opportunities abound, committment to diversity, and people make Wells Fargo a great place to start your career. Simply express your desire to pursue a certain career path and managers are happy to assist. Multiple company opportunities are presented to improve your personal skills.

    Cons

The size of the company and corporate bureaucracy make it difficult to impact change. Simple solutions unfortunately take months and sometimes years of "meetings and approvals" before significant changes can be made to improve business practices.

    Advice to Management

Continue to push the cross sell sales environment. It works.
