I have been working at Wells Fargo

Pros

No hassle about taking time off for appointments and flexible with arrival. Some weeks are easy going with very little to do.

Cons

Senior management trying to get people out the door. Underpaid for stress level associated with work, and dead end positions

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Lead by example rather than by constant delegation. More respect will be earned that way. Make employees feel valued. You can't raise salaries for new employees and ignore current employees, that's bad for retention.

    Pros

always willing to promote you if and a big if you meet your comp

    Cons

comp structure isnt very good, if you dont meet your comp structure they threaten to fire you, unless you "script" you will be written up for it

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

get rid of scripting and just let the staff be themselves and they will give great service in there own way

I have been working at Wells Fargo

    Pros

-Lots of opportunity to rise within the company (as long as it's the path they have mapped out for you)
-Time off is pretty good for entry-level work.
-In addition to salary, additional sales-based compensation is a possibility.

    Cons

-Day-to-day sales are main focus. What happened yesterday is mostly irrelevant to management.
-Sales can often be pushed to disadvantage of individual customers.
-Regional cost-of-living can make compensation non-competitive.
