Pros

Reasonable benefits package for the industry, average salary, somewhat respectable quality of life in regards to hours scheduled.

Cons

Constant shifts in priority from upper management before previous priorities are effectively taken care of, heavy on meetings and conference calls, fairly Byzantine process for dealing with anything serious which causes delays in actually mitigating problems.

Advice to Management

It's better to pay a fraction more to have an extra manager in a given facility than it is to overburden your one or two salaried employees per restaurant with incredibly high amounts of paperwork, conference calls, meetings, filing, etc. It's hard to run operations when you're constantly worried about administrative functions.

    Pros

its a fun parttime job. mainly for teens, highschoolers and college students. shouldnt be for employees who have a second job or strong family values. fast paced, u have to keep up. it helped me lose weight and stay toned. you can meet some really nice ppl there (depending on location)

    Cons

high turn over rate, recently employees here have had issues with management and their practices. theyre a bit hypocritical. some have quit, others fired for their own reasons, drama constantly, harrassment, Cell phone use during business hours should only be used if necessary. some management is on theirs constantly and take forever to come and help you.. management plays favorites. the store needs new equipment and they wont do much about it unless it actually breaks down. hours are being cut at this time of year! store manager has good business sense but has no sense of humor

    Advice to Management

i would tell Wendy's Corporate to make all stores have universal practices. if an employee has an issue, handle it appropriately, dont play favorites. dont hide behind loopholes in the policy handbook to not help their employees. increase pay raises, have managerment offer incentives to keep morale up.

  2. Terrible place full of terrible people

    Pros

Simple tasks, learning materials and instructions always within reach

    Cons

To many chiefs and not enough Indians, 3-5 managers rotating in and out at a time and each of them with different directives, objectives, and scheduling conflicts, on top of this certain illegal behaviors ran rampant and the only place your belongings were safe was on your person, employees caught stealing on camera were reprimanded and then brought back in by their favorite manager while the injured party was prone to the "grin and bear it" approach with things,

    Advice to Management

More communication to figure out who's supposed to be staffed when
