I have been working at Wendy's part-time (more than a year)

Pros

The food is okay and there are some interesting people to work with.

Cons

A non-definitive schedule, stressful management techniques, and hardly any chance for advancement what-so-ever.

    Pros

They will work around your scheduling needs.

    Cons

It was not a steady schedule. You may close one day and open the next day.

    Advice to Management

Create steady shifts for the employees to work.

    Pros

Reasonable benefits package for the industry, average salary, somewhat respectable quality of life in regards to hours scheduled.

    Cons

Constant shifts in priority from upper management before previous priorities are effectively taken care of, heavy on meetings and conference calls, fairly Byzantine process for dealing with anything serious which causes delays in actually mitigating problems.

    Advice to Management

It's better to pay a fraction more to have an extra manager in a given facility than it is to overburden your one or two salaried employees per restaurant with incredibly high amounts of paperwork, conference calls, meetings, filing, etc. It's hard to run operations when you're constantly worried about administrative functions.
