    I worked at Wendy's full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Great place to work as long as the GM doesn't Micro Manage everything. Crews were always ready to go on time and full of energy. Customers were loyal and friendly.

    Cons

Job advancement was sparse and if you were not friends with certain DM then you were unable to advance.

    Advice to Management

Work on updating the restaurants on the inside and not just the menus. Offer some incentives to the employees.

    I worked at Wendy's full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Great training courses taken on the computer before you begin working

    Cons

Managers are rude, impatient, and hot-headed. You'll be paid minimum wage and there are very few opportunities for promotion or raises. After one year you will be lucky to have been raced $.50.

    Advice to Management

First of all, teach your managers to treat all crew members with dignity and respect; there is a vast difference between an employee who doesn't care and an employee who is struggling to catch on to things. I watched a new crew member be yelled at for not working fast enough, he was brought to tears as a result. There is NEVER an excuse for yelling at someone who makes a genuine effort, or allowing anyone else to do so. Also, try to value your employees more, it would improve your turnover rates if you gave raises more often. If you're going to be a total cheapskate, expect most employees to view the job with you as temporary.
