    Pros

COO is the best! He understands strengths of people rather than the weaknesses and motivates the team. Opportunities are plenty, you are encouraged to do whatever you are good at. When the "tide is high" there is no dearth of incentives and pay hikes! Everybody gets to earn loads of money.

    Cons

Every company goes through a bad phase. The management needs to figure out a way to deal with it- They should make sure employees are not hurt or affected by the low phase. Need stronger HR practices in place to deal with attrition. Important that the management builds a strong trust with EACH and EVERY employee and not just a selected few. Also, please stop the system of giving hikes to "the teacher's pet" on your own whims and fancies! You cannot pick a favorite employee and give them a hike when you feel like it!

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

As mentioned, they should understand how to get through a low phase without hurting employee sentiments. Try to keep the entire team motivated ALL the time and build trust with each and every employee so that when one employee quits, the rest don't follow. Make sure pay hikes are given without bias and based only on the work people do and not based on who you like the most!
