By far the worst of one of my six employers.

Former Employee - Senior Staff Engineer in Fremont, CA

    Pros

The company has done quite well financially over the last seven or eight years I worked there. There are probably some unusual perks for the middle and upper management, but the rank and file staff does not see any of it.

    Cons

Expected to work longer hours with minimum or no recognition. The management is generally after catching the mistakes the staff makes and firing them, rather than catching the people when they do something "right" and rewarding them.

    Nothing Great

Current Employee - Anonymous Employee  in  Fremont, CA
Current Employee - Anonymous Employee in Fremont, CA

    Pros

Pay is OK (base+bonus+ESPP). Could do better given the work. Nothing else to think of for 'Pro'

    Cons

-Not much room to grow or to get promoted,
-There is excessive work, cannot balance work/life, should allow work from home at least once a week, since most people are working 7 days a week anyway!
-Benefits are very poor, health plan is really horrible
-Forced vacation, forced shutdown, almost no vacatiions hours remain in your balance
-Very poorly organized, no rigorous documentation, no robust training program
-Some people have no work, easy jobs but have been able to survive in the company while some folks are getting squeezed due to ever increasing work load

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Care for the people who actually 'work'
