I have been working at Western Kentucky University

    Pros

The generous sick and vacation time are only the beginning! Two weeks paid time off at Christmas is counted as holiday pay. The regular work week is 37.5 hours, and our 'summer' hours are rolled back to 35 hours per week, still getting paid at the regular rate. Two classes per semester paid for, even if you are not working toward a degree.. but why would you not want to?

    Cons

As with all employers, there are certain departments or managers who are not as easy to work for. However, it appears that once you're 'in the door' it is fairly simple to transfer to other departments. I really haven't seen a lot of downsides, and I've been there for over 10 years.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Always be sure to praise for a job well done.
