I worked at Western Kentucky University part-time (more than an year)

    Pros

Professors truly care about you and your research. You have great opportunities to work on research that you are passionate about, and also work along side professors who are willing to let you participate in their research projects. You have the opportunity to teach for 2 semesters if you think that is something you would like to do.

    Cons

Students who write a thesis often take an extra semester to finish it, many times because the deadlines are not communicated clearly.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Should make sure to communicate deadlines for various things they need their Grad Assistants to do, and for those who are completing thesis.
