Pros

Good pay, benefits and management.

Cons

The company has moved all manufacturing over seas and has just about eliminated all of the U.S. office jobs. I was downsized twice.

I worked at Westpoint Home (North Carolina) full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

Good people who are trying to make the most of a very sad and constrained operating environment.

    Cons

There are no personal or professional growth opportunities since the company is barely surviving. Anything of value has already been stripped off, or sold, by the parent company... Way below industry average benefits package, and low compensation.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Either grow the business, sell it or liquidate it.

I have been working at Westpoint Home (North Carolina) full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

experience, opertunity for growth, holidays off plus paid vacations.

    Cons

the second shift supervisor good at his job, however he tends to show favortism towards a lot of people on the crew, allows them to slack off and have the other employers pull there weight. On several occations he has made very racist remarks towards employees. The down side is when you tell upper management about the situation your told their is nothing we can do. i use to love this place now i want to see it close its doors for good.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Hir better employees and pay more attention to your spervisors. Your hardworkers leave due to unfair practices, but you lose contracts due to the poor employees that are left.
