I worked at Whataburger part-time (more than a year)

Pros

Good Work
Good People to work with and for

Cons

Hours suck, and too much gossiping between management and employment

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Quite playing favorites with senior employees and realize that even though its only fast food to give everyone fair hours. If you tell someone you like the work they are doing then show it by scheduling them more hours

    Pros

Whataburger is a much better place to work at compared to other fast food chains. Pay rate is a little above minimum wage but what do you expect. Also there is a 10 - 50 c pay raise every 6 moths. So if you actually work real hard you could get a 1$ raise in one year.

    Cons

Managers and employees can be a pain some times and at certain locations.

    Pros

Working the drive thru was fun because I got to interact with customers. You will become an expert at the position that you are trained in. The benefits (50% food ) are good.

    Cons

Very few people get to advance. I started out on fries. Then moved to the drink station. I was then supposed to be taught to run the cash register. However, they refused to train me. Because I have limited ability in handling money, I can't get a job anywhere else!

    Advice to ManagementAdvice
