Pros

There are plenty of challenges within Whirlpool for those that seek them. The company is huge on owning your own development and if you work hard at doing so, you will be successful with the company. Generally, the people are easy to work with.

Cons

Initiating changes can take an extensive amount of time to pass through the many layers. If you are fresh out of college and want to move up quickly you better go into the LDP program because they seem to promote the LDPs and not other college grads that are in a specific role but also demonstrate top talent.

Advice to Senior Management

Continue to drive the organization around growth and development of employees. Ensure that employees that want to move up are given actionable plans built around the necessary steps they need to take to grow into their next role/set of roles.
