    Pros

bonus (WHEN you get them), discount

    Cons

the most micro managed company ever! policies are extremely vague and vary from manager-to-manager. You are expected to wear current/full price clothing & when you make a purchase, don't even think about buying less than THREE items... it is highly frowned upon. Returning an item is basically not allowed & will cause problems for you should you press the issue.

When it comes to selling- the best sellers get the best hours- if you are unlucky enough to get scheduled during slow hours you are doomed to a cycle that can't be broken unless you get your hours cut & you quit.

Shady behaviors rule! Because there is a great pressure to have high sales amounts, customer & sales hoarding is common place in this company. Associates are forced to cheat & lie when capturing customer info for fear of being dinged in the system and getting their hours cut.

NOT A PREGNANCY FRIENDLY COMPANY- kind of ironic for a WOMENS clothing store, where nearly all employees are WOMEN. Who tells a pregnant employee they can no longer accommodate their medical condition (aka: pregnancy)?! oh yeah, WHBM's HR department! (which actually DOES exist, but only when they want to reach out to you & not when you need them)

Do not get wrapped up in all the talk about bonus! 99% of employees are lucky to score $5/week, and it's taxed at 50%! and minimum wage is ridiculous for the price points in this brand!

The managers are all drinking the kool aid that the company leaders love them, are mentoring them, believe in them, are looking out for their best interest & want to see them succeed. The ONLY people they are looking out for are themselves. Bonus amounts have been slashed, expectations have been raised & associates are expected to meet them "or else"

The culture they trumpet is totally misaligned with normal society. They go on and on about doing what is best for the customer & making the customer feel beautiful... so long as she is in the mood to spend.

    Advice to Management

read the above. You sell clothes- everything isn't THAT big of a deal. calm down.
