Definitely not the best, but you have the opportunity to learn a lot about yourself

ProsSupposedly there is plenty of growth in the company. The training documents are available for anyone in any department. They are a very ethically sound company.

ConsKnown for pulling entry level managers in to a position they are not ready for. Some may view this as a system of "weeding out" the people that do not belong, but to many times have i seen them sell a dream to someone and then stick them into a position they are entirely to overwhelmed in and then watch them fail and burnout. The managers I am referring to were college educated and very driven, but they were seated in wrong positions and the company lost out on really awesome managers because of inadequate training and management placement.
There is a training system set up similar to other companies where they bring in entry level managers to train in various departments, but I have yet to meet or work with a manager that has gone through the entire program. Most of the time they are just thrown into a position before they can be adequately trained.
There raises, or lack of, are minimal.
Bonus's are difficult and almost impossible to obtain.
Very few GM's and directors that are in their positions because of their talent. It seems to be more on who you know than what that person can bring to the table

Advice to Senior ManagementEntry level managers be ready to have absolutely no life, but be exposed to a lot you can learn from and take elsewhere. Upper management should already know what they are in for.

Fast paced environment, team environment, although worked too hard and spread too thin.

    Sales Manager (Current Employee)

I have been working at White Lodging full-time for less than a year

Pros: Team environment, open communications within region. Cons: Too much work for pay, and expectations are high for… Advice to Senior Management: Hire more people. Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company… More
