Pros

-Emphasis on teamwork -Good benefits -Company is growing so opportunity to advance is high -Hard work recognized and rewarded -Cool people to work with -Lots of opportunity for movement--hotels in different cities across the US. I moved from Chicago to Nashville -Values driven company

Cons

-Long hours -needs to be more environmentally friendly -interviewing process is not easy--come prepared

Advice to Management

I don't have much advice as the company pretty much runs like a well-oiled machine. I would stress more of a work-life balance. The hotel industry in general is tough with long hours and minimal holidays.

    Pros

Great locations in Denver, Chicago, Austin, Nashville Huge opportunity for growth--company is still growing at rapid pace If you work hard you advance quickly Managers were supportive and interested in your advancement Great benefits! There's a reason Marriott has named them best franchiser of the year for so many years. Diverse and interesting employees

    Cons

Depending on your position you're expected to work long hours

    Negative Outlook
    No opinion of CEO

    Pros

Good pay in the Chicago location, Hotel benefits with the franchise brand.

    Cons

You can go beyond for the company and demonstrate strong leadership skills, have an excellent attendance record and share your opinions and ideas and non will be accounted for. Management team always cover each other mistakes and never question or help improve each other skills. There's never a good manager in the end the good manager will side with the other manager regardless of the situation.

    Advice to Management

Please work on keeping associates happy. Management team needs further leadership training in regards managing and being part of a team. If there's a busy day/ weekend management should work not be off and expect associates to do all the hard work. Revision of your on board training needs to be made and improved. HR in Chicago particularly needs to be redefined what HR stands for and not be one sided with management.
