I worked at Whole Foods Market full-time for more than a year

Pros

always room for growth, they love to hire from within- it helps to have a friend working there to get an interview- good market sharing, great retirement/401 K, decent insurance.

Cons

really low base pay if you don't have a college degree

Advice to ManagementAdvice

keep an open mind when you are hiring, if someone doesn't accept your offer the first time don't blackball them if they apply another later time.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Make good personal connections with your coworkers. Whole Foods is like a family and if you don't treat it as such you should probably Move on.
