Whole Foods Front End Supervisor

Customer Service Supervisor (Current Employee)

Pros- Good corporate culture but it is fading
- Good environment to work in as co-workers were typically good
- Developed great social skills
- Upward movement is possilble to a degree but tends to bottle-neck badly when going from department leader to higher leadership postions
- Was able to meet interesting customers to network with while going through school

Cons- Customers can be tough to deal/typical retail issues
- Regional leadership seems to leave the impression they are effective at running their respective regional departents they oversee, but can sometimes appear disconnected to store level issues.
- Solid customer service is being replaced with cheap labor and core values are becoming blurred as Whole Foods continues to grow.

Advice to Senior ManagementDon't grow into Vons too fast.

Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company
