I worked at WildAid full-time

Pros

Conservation work. global organization, hard working staff.

Cons

Bad management, poor bookkeeping, horrible morale, awful turnover. Unprofessional managers. Staff never credited for their work. Incredibly demanding with little return. Director is unsupportive, only interested in money and isn't willing to brainstorm, work flexibly, give credit where deserved or run his team.

I have been working at WildAid

    Pros

Friendly staff, great cause, beautiful location, it's a nonprofit so get to work on a lot of topics, some creative opportunities available

    Cons

no money, lack of discussion of future and what WIldAid can do for you (it's all about what you can do for them, often free or for peanuts), their work is becoming stagnant, no one has a science background, more interested in raising money, you don't get much credit for your hard work

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Pull aside your employees and tell them how they are doing or give them credit for their hard work
