I have been working at Wiley full-time for more than 10 years

Pros

Emphasizes work/life balance. Stable: only recently have bigger changes happened. Lots of good people in the company.

Cons

Disconnected senior management. Too slow to evolve. Poor place for younger talented people to move up.

I have been working at Wiley full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

    Great, friendly colleagues!!
    Near the Orange line
So much PTO time - great work/life balance

    Cons

Malden, MA is not a great place to go every day -- office tends to be freezing~
    Low pay

Company is going through a tough time (with the publishing industry in general) and therefore management has been cutting back -- trying to do more with less. Makes the day-to-day very difficult.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Invest in technology for the future, pay attention to your current employees for promotions/advancement; better communication with employees, be more transparent
