    Pros

Lots of exposure to a range of projects and cases. Significant level of responsibility in a learn-on-your-feet environment. Good group of attorneys, respectful of hard work and initiative. Firm has great brand equity in and out of DC - high profile cases and attorneys.

    Cons

Small office and separation from DC location can make workload unpredictable - must be ready to seek out work in slow times and manage a lot during busy times. Corporate structure and required educational sessions can be stifling. Typical workplace personality matters can be concentrated in small office.

    Advice to Management

Scale down superficial course work, provide a better mechanism for connecting legal support staff with available case work.
