Cons

Work/life balance, communication, job security, staff moral.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Treat your staff as a valued asset and not as an inconvenience that you have to discipline for every little thing, Remember happy staff = productive and loyal staff. Let us managers manage the way we see fit and not just get dictated to. Give us some form of bonus or shares, if you can afford to give the CEO a nice bonus then you can give us something, remember it is the teams in the shops that are the face of William hill, the first point of contact for new and existing customers, we are the people that put the companies plans into action and therfore contribute a lot to the success or failure of the company, some form of a fair reward would be appriciated.

I have been working at William Hill

    Pros

William hill is an ok company to work for, but its not the best.
its a good laugh at times and if you get on with the people you are working with should find it fun. there are no set shifts so this can either be a go or a bad thing.
its good if you need this weekend or that day off but the working hours arnt too great.

    Cons

most managers dont work nights so you will find yourself doing alot of late shifts.
ok as a part time job or a full time job for a while but not forever.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

the staff could be treated better. we are the ones in the most difficult position working crazy shifts. some praise once in a while wouldnt go a miss.
