I worked at Wilson Elser full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

Excellent opportunity to gain real-world experience (at least if you are in the products liability group). From client interaction to pleadings to depositions to trials and arbitrations. Excellent starting point.

    Cons

Excellent starting point. Challenges and opportunities are not are great if you are not in the products liability group. Few newcomers have intention to stay long term--tough culture.

I have been working at Wilson Elser full-time

    Pros

Free coffee in the break room! Plus you get the second set of left overs from upper management meetings.

    Cons

Small pay, bad management, no promotions, verbal abuse, hostile work environment.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Upper management and humans resources need to enforce policies on ethical behavior instead of paying people off to keep their mouths shut.
