Treats employees fairly; fails to optimize integration of acquisitions

IT Manager (Current Employee) Evansville, IN

ProsWindstream has good benefits and treats employees fairly.

ConsLike most large companies, Windstream suffers from weak interdepartmental communication and fails to optimize globally. Each department focuses on its own narrow goals, and the executive team does a poor job of correcting the often perverse and pernicious effects of local optimization. Also, as is typical in American public companies today, executive compensation is excessive.
