It's all about the wine

Anonymous Employee (Former Employee)

ProsLots of wine tastings
Great work/life balance
Great CEO
Fun group of people, especially at company outings
If you're looking to do the same thing day in and day out, this is the place for you!

ConsVery little room for advancement or promotion, unless you're a Wine Merchant.
No upward mobility for supporting departments-e.g. Marketing, Finance, IT, etc. If you work in one of these departments, then you're pretty much stuck in that same position and department. Very little moving from one department to another.
Not a lot of training or structure. Just jump in and do it.
No career development.
Benefits are Ok. No matching 401K.
A lot of talk, but very little action when it comes to improving various aspects about the company.

Advice to Senior ManagementTake a look around you and notice how hard others work - not just the wine merchants.
