I have been working at Winn-Dixie full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Benefits 401k, life, vacation, weekly pay. Chance for promotions from within. Company paid parties on holidays. Management cares about employees safety

    Cons

Management tries to get student to move up instead of going to school to learn a real skill. This is a job to pay certain bill while in school. It is NOT a viable career choice.

I have been working at Winn-Dixie full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Like any retail environment, you build a close relationship with the people you work with. A great place to make friends and if you work hard you can be promoted but don't expect to get much of a pay raise.

    Cons

Again, the pay isn't the best and the company is constantly doing stupid ideas. For example: remodeling old stores which costs them well over a million dollars and then complain we missed payroll so they cut hours by nearly a third and expect the same results. Maybe its Winndixie, maybe its Bi-Lo but either way they just like crapping on the employees and don't really care about their opinions.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Motivate you employees more and attempt to reward them.
