Pros – Beautiful campus, great working environment, excellent benefits, the community is a great place to raise a family. Nestled between the bluffs and the Mississippi river. 25 miles from La Crosse, WI; 45 miles to Rochester, MN. Surprising number of companies in the area offering opportunities for students to work, partner for projects, and have an internship opportunity. Home of the Great River Shakespeare and Beethoven Festivals.

Cons – Small town, 2 hours from Twin Cities, lack of fine dining establishments. Land locked on an "island."
