I have been working at Wipro full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

    1. Countless projects.
    2. Initial grooming and then Project Training.
    3. Work pressure is less.

    Cons

    1. No learning despite countless projects. Work is trashy, Clients are demanding.
    2. More of a school of WASE'ians (B.Sc, B.C.A.,etc guys) , for B.Tech guys, it's not a place to work in.
    3. The most disappointing and unsatisfying thing is, lowest package.
    4. You'll be put in an entirely different domain despite they trained you for something else.
    5. You'll be surrounded by a bunch of undeserving and almost dumb people who don't know an iota of Computer field yet they work with you or might be, better package than yours.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Try to utilize talent in an appropriate way.

I have been working at Wipro full-time (less than an year)

    Pros

Good facilities on campus (gym, cafeterias, library, bookshops) - although you can rest assured that you wont have time to utilize these

    Cons

No concept of work-life balance. You're not expected to have a life. Even if you clock 8am-to-6pm as well as 830pm-1030pm on a daily basis, you're expected to serve some more time.

If your manager's a workaholic+an insomniac+has no personal life, god save you (wouldn't be surprised if most managers fall under this classification). In addition to this, managers expect employees to run errands/do their odd jobs (personal, not professional)

Culture? Bureaucratic. Old school rules the roost. If you can afford being stuck here for 10 years/tolerate this place for 10 years, you might just qualify for a career. Alignment with the top bosses gets rewarded. Non-alignment/disrespect towards lower-downs is rampant and ignored even by HR. There is absolutely no respect for individuals here.

    Compensation is below industry standards.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Respect for the individual/Respect your employees.

    No opinion of CEO
