Great company, great potential - if they can avoid the pitfalls for rapidly growing companies

I have been working at Wireless Generation, Inc.

    Pros

Great environment; knowledgeable, nice, and caring people - you have to really care about education to work there - who are willing to teach and learn from each other.

Tremendous institutional knowledge: company has good communication with customers, and has built up a repository of knowledge in the education software sector.

    Cons

With the company growing at such rapidly rate, the institutional knowledge is steadily being diluted.

Salary is slightly below the industry standard.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

For new mangers: your have people - engineers, designers, product owners - who have experience and knowledge in the field of education software. Learn from them.

For existing mangers: you have a lot of people - who don't have experience and knowledge in the field of education software. Teach them.
