I have been working at Wolters Kluwer

Pros

The only plus side to the company is a relatively competitive benefits package and decent salary. They are also somewhat flexible with working from home; however that depends heavily on the group you work in.

Cons

-- very poor leadership with outdated management style
-- very low moral in the company
 -- no opportunity for advancement
-- declining revenue in many part of the business, but very little concern about it from management
-- most "technical" roles are staffed by people with outdated skills
 -- very disorganized structure

Advice to ManagementAdvice

I would probably say the most valuable piece of advice would be to get a better understanding of why customers are leaving and to also modernize the company with new staff and maybe training for existing staff to get up to date.

    I worked at Wolters Kluwer

    Pros

    - work on products that have a real purpose and use for the audience -- consumers who know the products and use them all the tiem

    Cons

    - the company is very disjointed. there is no sense of atmosphere or company culture at all. most people have been there for a long time and are set in their ways. not enough room for young people who are innovative and want to change things.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

find new ways to incentivize young employees. create a better work life balance and strive for some sense of company culture
