Former Intern - Summer Analyst in New York, NY
Former Intern - Summer Analyst in New York, NY

I worked at Wolters Kluwer as an intern (less than a year)

    Pros

Worked with a wonderful team that was full of amazing individuals who have had experience in management consulting. Felt like the work I did was valuable to the company's business strategy. Participated and given opportunity to present the work and analysis I did, even as an intern. Insight into type of work that consultants get to do.

    Cons

Did not have structured return offer system for summer interns.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Invest more in talent acquisition. With the current summer program, be sure to be able to take in at least 60 percent of the interns for full-time positions.

    Pros

Steady paycheck, decent benefits, gym in building,

    Cons

Going through big cuts due to poor product releases, terrible customer support and low sales. Chopping jobs right and left. Good people gone. Low morale, lots of scared people at every level. Dysfunctional company with worse and worse product releases and cuts to customer service and training that guarantee unhappy customers.
