I have been working at Wood Group Mustang full-time (more than 8 years)

Pros

The work is interesting technically. The company culture encourages a good overall work/life balance.

Cons

Due to lower then average turnover, it is difficult to find significant opportunities for advancement. There is not a good process for internal movement of employees to other departments.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Mustang's internal talent development process is getting better, but is still lacking when compared to other similar engineering services companies.

I worked at Wood Group Mustang as an intern (less than a year)

    Pros

The hours are extremely flexible and the environment is great. Every employee I dealt with was someone I could see myself working with for a long time.

    Cons

The pay system took a little getting used to. Also, most of the people in my department worked only 40 hour work weeks and would have liked to work more if possible.
