What will the future bring?

ProsGreat people working on projects. Everyone generally works together and helps each other to get the job done.

ConsThe growth of Mustang, including its mergers over the past 2.5 years has been so much so quickly, that it has brought a lot of challenges, including many managers so disconnected from the projects that they make it more difficult for the project teams to perform their jobs. Since the projects serve the clients and make the company money, it is uncertain if the current state of chaos will eventually get better or not. There are too many senior managers (over 35 Vice Presidents) that provide little to no value to the organization. The company has become very controlling and rigid in how it is handling many job requirements that it has reduced the flexibility needed to accomplish the job.

Advice to Senior ManagementGet back to basics of what made this company great, starting with the culture. There has been such a shift away from the traditional Mustang culture that it doesn't seem to be the same company. Secondly the leadership of the company is severely lacking, with very little emphasis on ensuring the project teams are given the resources they need to perform the jobs and the project managers given the ability to make things happen and not be stalled by the lack of support from the support entities within the organization.

– I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company
