Neutral Outlook

I have been working at Woodward Academy (GA) full-time (More than 5 years)

Pros

Good benefits (healthcare, ed reimbursement, lunch) Some very talented teachers here

Cons

Dictatorial President treats teachers like a commodity, not like educated professionals Micromanager department chair means much time is spent on data clerk activities vs. on teaching and interacting with students No room for mobility/advancement unless you are pals with someone at the top.

Advice to Management

Treat teachers as the professionals we are, don't lie to us, and don't treat us like criminals!
