Pros

The company is privately owned and highly profitable. It has excellent senior management that treats its employees exceptionally well.

Cons

The company is very Saint Louis (HQ) centric. It is harder to advance in the remote offices. The benefits package is good, however, salaries are below market value in some high cost geographies.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

It is a wonderful company. Its treatment of employees is why I stay.

Current Contractor - Warehouse Associate/Temp-8 Months in Austin, TX

I have been working at World Wide Technology as a contractor (less than a year)

    Pros

    plenty of overtime when required

    Cons

Genco in process of buyout, temps expendable, lack of training, no clear chain of command, positions not clearly defined

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

When you know someone outside of work doesn't always mean they do a good job. When someone brings a complain about a hired WWT management employee, instead of investigating they will act with haste and fire the "whistle blower" out of fear, who most likelty is a temp. When performing duties for a position employee should be given said title, instead of all being listed as "Warehouse Associates" See a lack of appreciation and concern for temporary workers.
