I have been working at WorleyParsons Limited full-time for more than a year

Pros

As an EPCM company, WorleyParsons is pretty good at landing diverse contracts, which lends to a pretty stable working environment. (Which results in fewer layoffs in down times.)

Cons

Perhaps they should concentrate a bit more on the assets they do have, instead of continuing to acquire more companies. Also, some of the ideas coming from Head Office are Australia-centric, which might not work in other areas of the planet.

    I have been working at WorleyParsons Limited full-time for more than a year

    Pros

    Engineers -technical the workers ( some of them), hard workers to feed the bonuses
    Promotion and benefits awarded to certain people and circle, if you get in there it's a positive thing

    Cons

    Lack of leadership
    Promotion to those from a specific social team
    Square pegs round holes fit many of the leaders
    Staff employed due to low salaries not based on technical ability
    UK expats are all British Pakistanis like CM
    Bonuses given , no transparency or measurement on performance in place, if you in good books then well rewarded or if you in social circle
    Promises of increase salary made to many , only to find that negotiation happens again as promises broken
    Expats from UK generally get all perks others it is difficult
     Salary is low compared to the same job in the industry
    No job security
    They put people who are not qualified for the position but has connections with Senior Management
    Too much Politics; causes Poor Work Quality
    Many get in the Company even if there degree is not related to the requirements and no work experience (needs to reviewed)
    Large turn over of staff
    Good people come realise quickly there is a bias ..... Gone

    Reward recruit for the business and WorleyParsons brand, no like ones franchise
