Things sometimes take a long time to happen as you have to get approvals from all different levels.

    I have been working at WorleyParsons

    Pros

    - Wages are very competitive and almost at above average levels. Overtime compensation is provided at competitive rates.
    - Benefits are excellent ranging from free life/travel insurance to discounts at local events and restaurants.
    - Company has a very strong global presence and transfers are possible to other in-country and international locations.
    - Opportunity to advance to higher positions is possible due to a massive restructuring within the company.

    Cons

    - Company's policies are too overwhelming. Even many senior employees are not very familiar with the procedures.
    - No proper team building strategies are utilized.
    - Frequent change in project leadership roles.
    - Sometimes ineffective communication within the teams are leading to rework in projects.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    - Strong team building skills needs to be implemented.
    - Adequate training should be provided to employees on company policies.
