I have been working at Wyle full-time (More than 5 years)

Pros

The company offer flexible hours (to a degree) and the projects have a coolness factor to them.

Cons

While other NASA contractors offer their employees a share of the award fee, Wyle routinely does not give this to their employees. Raises also do not come yearly, unlike other NASA contractors.

    Pros

Willing to assign new roles and responsibilities to people who ask for them. Good team comraderie. Good salaries. Employee recognition program is proactive. Plenty of work to go around.

    Cons

Very quick to give warnings and pink slips. Frequently feel kept in the dark or lied to. Employees who are out of favor are subject to petty management tactics until they break. Competent staff are badly overworked. Process changes are frequently arbitrary and forgotten.

    Advice to Management

Don't make changes unless they provide real value to the work environment. Keep your staff aware of changes and opportunities. Trust your employees.
