I have been working at Wyndham Hotels and Resorts full-time (more than 3 years)

Pros

Nice corporate offices, some good people and overall fairly pleasant environment. Wyndham corporate seems to have good leadership and direction, so we hope that will eventually filter down to Hotel Group.

Cons

Tons of backstabbing, silos and cya mentality. Discouraging to see a select few grabbing all the attention while others efforts are largely ignored. "Count on me" mentality is expected from associates but execs dont adhere to their own standard. Management changes its mind about priorities much too frequently so you never know how much time to devote to something because direction might change midstream.

I enjoyed it, but some of the staff were very rude.

I worked at Wyndham Hotels and Resorts full-time (less than an year)

    Pros

I loved the pay and the amount of rooms you could get to clean. Not many have the option of maximizing your pay out.

    Cons

The downside was the dispatch who handed out the rooms refused to give me more after 2 or 3pm due to me being a single cleaner.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Appreciate your front line employees and reach out to them. Your salary position would not be there if the success of your company was not driven by these dedicated employees.
