Wyndham Worldwide Project Manager in Parsippany, NJ:   (Past Employee - 2008)

Pros

Except for the occassionaly difficult personality... most of the people there are good people to work with. The work isn't difficult and the industry (travel) is interesting. Overall, most people are friendly with the exception of the "fake nicer."

Cons

Unfortunately those "difficult personalities" are the one that seem to have upper mgmt's ear. There are limited opportunities to advance but definitely enough work to go around.

Advice to Senior Management

Appreciate your employees! Even if you can't promote everyone, at least provide them with respect. Morale could be instantly boosted by giving your employees small "perks" like allowing employees to take summer hours with out disapproval of their manager (it's a company perk...let people enjoy it) Reward your employees with small appreciation awards or just a nod in a meeting. When something goes wrong, change company culture from one where the first response is to find someone to blame to one of teamwork to find a solution.
