They seldom hire hire new enployees at the full time level. Nearly all new emplotees are hired on a contracted basis and kept at 36 hrs. or less to avois paying benefite.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

If you want good quality employees who will care about yours and thier futures, go back to putting them on your payroll.

I worked at Xerox full-time (more than 10 years)

    Pros

The old timers are great and will love to tell you about Xerox's glory days.

    Cons

One bad decision after another has left the company a shell of it's former self. Zero innovation is happening at Xerox, it's simply a long slow death. Purchasing ACS was a good move, but only prolonging the inevitable. Xerox leadership does not have the quality to convert the company to a services company. The leadership think that they can turn it into the next IBM, but really what they are heading for reduced market and excuses.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Stop have your internal sales force compete with the same products against agents and Global and let them focus on accounts.
