I worked at Xerox full-time (more than 5 years)

Pros

Can work from home, generally nice coworkers, opportunities to travel.

Cons

Poor compensation. The CEO and upper management constantly sacrifice customer and employee satisfaction to meet quarterly goals. The CEO has never worked for another company in her entire life and it shows. Poor work/life balance, and lousy offices.

    Pros

    The atmosphere is one of collaboration even across multiple lines of business. The company is moving towards leading with services offerings but still does place a good emphasis on the technology we market.

    Cons

    Salaries are below average and outsourcing and downsizing have hurt company morale. Workers are asked to put in longer hours and pick up the slack from their laid off coworkers.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Pay more to get more and invest in US talent - stop the outsourcing.

    Pros

    When I first went to work here there were a ton of pros. Now it is hard to find any other than having a job.

    Cons

    The pay and benefits are not good at all. In sales in particular some month it is like being paid minimum wage. The benefits are awful and no raises since 05.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    It seems there are so many managers and not enough feet on the street. Management does what they are told and just pushed it down the the field. No one really seems to care about the existing customers only the direct sales reps go to bat for customers.... Company has lost its way.
