I have been working at Xerox full-time for more than 10 years

ProsPossible to arrange flexible work hours with a manager if you have a compelling circumstance.

ConsNo prospects for upward mobility since the organization has flattened out, especially if you are not in the main campus in Rochester NY. Significant reduction in benefits over the years, thus effectively reducing the total pay. Lack of job security: there is a layoff almost every year.

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend

Company heading in the wrong direction

Pros: flexible work schedules, excellent variety of engineering work (materials, thermals, fluids, dynamic systems, systems engineering,… Cons: lack of consistent direction and increasing indecsision by upper management (programs started and then immediately cancelled), short-sighted… Advice to Senior Management: Look to more than the next 12 months, and plan… No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company… More
