I have been working at Xerox full-time (more than an year)

Pros

Martin Luther Kings Birthday Off, Call Center Reps are enjoyable to work with. Some management is OK but the majority, I wouldn't pay a penny for.

Cons

No pay raise in 4 years, incompetent management, clicks, no back bone in management, no support for the Call Center Reps, no positive feedback, discrimination.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Get rid of the clicks and act like mature responsible adults. Support your teams not with just words but with actions. Get rid of existing management....No BACK Bone

    Pros

    Great people to work with!
    The Wilsonville Team of Engineers, Techinicians and Managers are all highly skilled professionals and excellent team members.

    Cons

    No raises, while contibutions to health plan and co-pays increases yearly.
    Always cutting research investment
    Yearly layoffs are now semi yearly
    Higher ups have decided to save money by outsourcing/off-shoring to India
    The outsourced work quality is causing major slips in deliverables

    It is too late for any advise to help.

    I worked at Xerox full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

    Interested to innovate, excellent customers, strong brand and market presence. Focused to do things very inexpensively

    Cons

    Leadership is predominantly from the 2009 acquisition of ACS (Affiliated Computer Services). Goal of reducing costs takes only spreadsheet view ... no consideration of client impacts -- until it is too late.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Continue to re-invent the brand, communicate to the Street that your primary business (outsourcing) has limits for margin growth. Focus on satisfying clients in the LONG term (vs. quick hits to "keep business") and hire leaders who know how to mange PEOPLE vs. THINGs.
