I worked at Xerox full-time (less than a year)

    Pros

Nice work place environment and good flexible hours. It was nice and easy to work from home when required. My group was good, have heard worse things about different groups.
It was innovative to work with most of the people.

    Cons

Not enough transparency in the decision making process. I was not made aware of many required things which I came to know later. They have been firing a lot lately so job guarantee wasnt really there. My manager changed and even she didnt know much about how things were done and happened,

I worked at Xerox full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

A few talented people, but most of them abandoned ship the moment they saw an opportunity elsewhere.

    Cons

No training, no consideration for personal life, long hours, no recognition. A mishmash of Off-the-Shelf software held together by spit and duck tape (really horrible software based on Siebel/Web App that is almost unusable) and incompatible systems sold as state-of-the art? Get real: Xerox hasn't innovated since they gave away Desktop Publishing and the GUI to Jobs and Wozniak. And "purchasing' a sleazebag call center operation like ACS (the ethics complaints increased 4 times when they merged) should be a clear sign that something is rotten in Dallas (ACS' HQ). Upper management is cowardly, only concerned with CYA, and will throw their grandmothers under the bus to suit them, and mostly sociopathic.

    Hara-kiri. Now.
