Bureaucratic, understaffed and lacking in leadership, management

Service Delivery Manager (Former Employee)
Uxbridge, England (UK)

ProsFriendly long-serving employees from better times at Xerox

ConsCompany lacks the family feel with lack of leadership leaving staff to paddle their own canoes. IT Projects face a wall of heavy 'waterfall' bureacracy and powerpoint culture, while many other companys are moving to agile methods and less bureacracy. Offices are aged and/or cramped in Uxbridge. US noticeably better staff resourced than EU which is cut to the bone (marrow).

Advice to Senior ManagementToo many long service yes men in middle management, typical of old corporations.

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company

Was good when I started but declined rapidly.

    Anonymous Employee (Former Employee)

I worked at Xerox full-time for more than 5 years

Pros: Company pay was reasonable but people who had been there in the good years where getting paid… Cons: Stuck in the past which has been said before, I had a customer facing role and the company issued phone was Nokia 3310. Not much… Advice to Senior Management: To much middle management and dead wood. Need to start… No, I would not recommend this company to a friend More
