Former Employee - Account Service Engineer in Plaquemine, LA

I worked at Xerox full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

Good benefits, until they were cut, not sure if the are back to pre layoff levels or not. Worked with knowledgeable people.

    Cons

Fast paced, no room for error, when you are a service technician dedicated to a site, like I was, there are no room for mistakes or you risk missing a service level agreement and costing the company to pay a penalty.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Pay more attention to your folks on the front line, you are getting away from the customer focused ideals which made Xerox great. Appreciate your employees more, less lip service, more actual appreciation.

I have been working at Xerox full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

Being an Instructional Designer it is not necessary for you to work onsite and Xerox recognizes that. Also, Xerox has flexibility as far as work schedule

    Cons

It took me about a year total to finally get hired
