Pros

Focus on continuous improvement and increased productivity.

Cons

Too much reorganization activity year after year. Do your best to get it right. Expanding upper management one year, downsizing the next - then repeat? Stop the madness.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Lots of talent in Managed Services - should consider making these resources the Sales Lead in the accounts and train them same as you do field sales. Wasted resources.

    Pros

    There are no pros to working at Xerox

    Cons

    The Indianapolis site is so mismanaged. Hire people with the proper credentials and backgrounds for the jobs they will do. A body in a seat does not mean they can perform!!! All functions of the company can't be treated like a call center. The building was disgusting...no supplies and no nightly cleaning. Executives truly will promise anything to clients without thinking of how the promise will be accomplished!!

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Learn how to treat your employees. Get an orientation program for managers so they don't fail!! Not everyone wants to work 90 hours a week with no appreciation and raises!!! Don't lie about annual bonuses when there aren't any!!

    Pros

    They have a wonderful inverse triangle placing the importance on the employee. Great benefits and wonderful peers to work with.

    Cons

    They do not hold up to their inverse triangle. When going to interviews I always seem to joke that "everyone works there at some point." The turnover rate is enormous in the call centers.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    If your going to have a unified company unify the salaries and benefits. Fire everyone that was top management in ACS all the way down to Supervisors within the call center and bring in some fresh blood.
