Pros

The position allows for high level visibility and traveling. It also allows for advancement with the organization and other divisions.

Cons

The commute to work can be tough. If you hit traffic at the wrong time, then you'll be waiting and not knowing what time you'll actually arrive.

Advice to Management

I think you have the company headed in the right direction. I like your proactive approach to repositioning Xerox and its brand.

    Pros

    stable job if you want to keep in the same place and do the same thing

    Cons

    company is full with technology managers that are a dying breed of dinasours from the 1970/80. they do not understand current technology and how to grow their business with different channels (such as SW and HW - such as HP) I have spent 5 years with the company and have been assigned to the leadership program - but its worthless.

    Advice to Management

    allow younger generation to mover forward and replace older managers.

    Pros

    Great Training Program! New Hires get a lot of attention early and very enthusiastic.

    Cons

    Once you blow out your quota, you get a new one that is almost unattainable.

    Advice to Management

    Set Realistic Goals each year for your employees, so you don't lose top talent. Regional/Local Management needs to stay connected with Corporate, so employees don't get lost in the shuffle.
