Pros

Good business concept. Nice products and service lineup.
Nice looking product covers.
Market can grow
A good takeover target.
Change in top management can mostly fix their issue.

Cons

Workplace humiliation like never seen before
Highly uninspiring atmosphere. EXTREMELY HIGH TURNOVER!
Senior management always tries to cover them.
Overall disappointment.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Unfortunately change of the original top management is needed to make this company with really good idea a true success story.

    I have been working at XpresSpa full-time

    Pros

    The massage therapist and cosmetologists are great... Some of them.

    Cons

    Management is unorganized lazy and upper management aka Corporate does not back up their employees. We get complaints about everything lack of staff, waiting time for a service, the actual service, and these are things we have real control over. We do not predict what the traffic will be or call outs but if a customer complains corporate doesn't care to hear your side of the situation you are written up and or fired without warning.
    Corporate had lost employees personal information and doesn't feel the need to explain where and how this could have happened and scheduling is ridiculous.

    I worked at XpresSpa full-time (less than a year)

    Pros

    OK pay, you get to meet a lot of interesting people

    Cons

    Management is overwhelmed between trying to balance being a supervisor and therapist, odd work hours, they need better background checks on their therapists. No real opportunities for advancement, no raises.

    Treat your staff better, better communication is needed between corporate and spas
