Pros

Good work ethics coupled with capability would bound to be recognized in a market with lots of room to grow.

Cons

New recruits without prior experience in the industry might find difficult to pick up the pace initially. Newcomers are expected to have the initiative to pick up skills on the job as they go along.

Advice to Management

Needs to expand and improved upon current training programs for new and existing personnel to enhance their knowledge and capabilities to sell and support Xylem's products.

    Pros

    Its a job.The senior management seems well established and interested in growth in the branches for the sales staff and lower management. They are into training their sales staff, and management. Heard talk about training employees for there jobs more info have not seen it yet.

    Cons

    The policies they have established are not followed at shop management levels.its a do as I say not as i do attitude at branch levels. There promotions at a shop level are who can suck up the best not who is the best suited for the job. they pass up people and listen to whoever has their ear at that time. The people in charge are not afraid to belittle a employee because they know they will not complain because there is no trust the ohmsbud line is a joke because if you complain it does not take a rocket scientist to figure out who called. The lower management will harass employees trying to find out who called. So why put up with the bull**** its easier and much more rewarding to find a new job.

    Advice to Management

    Well to be honest the senior management should do a better job about policing their offices. They will see soon enough how many experienced people they will lose at the first of the year but since they have a number system they should be able to hire more people to fill those spots. There is no advancement for people in the shops because you have no one there that is willing to let them move up or help them advance so why stay. They try to convince people that they will fail so until you get the attitude of management on your page you will be fighting a losing battle. If you want the truth ask the employees without management around and they will tell you but if you try it as a whole group everyone will say they are happy and will not tell you what you need to know keep lower management out of employee meets and you will learn a lot. the problem is they have to know that there will not be any ___________out to get you_______from immediate management
